We are saddened to learn that Peter Terrington passed away on July 26th aged 76 years, after a short illness bravely borne.

Being of the same age, Iain MacBrayne has very fond memories of Peter's time at Holt Rugby Club from when he joined in the 1970's. Peter mostly played in the 2nd team however made several appearances for the 1st team, always in the 2nd row. Though he gave up the rugby scene more latterly to concentrate on his sailing, Iain says Peter will be remembered fondly as a good Holt club member and a lovely gentle man.

Peter leaves behind his widow Jean, who advises that a celebration of Peter's life will be held at St Withburga Church, Holkham, on Monday August 21st at 2.30pm, with donations if desired going to Cancer Research UK.

Peter will be sadly missed by all his family and friends.
